Referral Journey at Autograph Dental Cambridge
When referring your patients to us, we will always provide the best possible dental care. We'll then return your patient to your care following treatment. Only treatment previously agreed will be carried out. An estimate of fees is always provided to the patient beforehand and if we feel other treatments are necessary, this will always be discussed with you in advance.

At Autograph Dental Cambridge, we use a software called SmileMate. This helps our dental professionals analyse the patient's oral health and understand the treatment they are interested in before they even need to visit the practice.
If you click on the button below you will be taken directly to the SmileMate software.
You will be asked to submit contact information and a brief explanation of your needs and expectations. You will also be asked to upload photos of your teeth, don't worry, you will be given clear guidelines of what photos we need.
Once the information has been uploaded you will receive a FREE dental report, usually within 24 hours (however, can take a little longer over the weekend/bank holidays).
Our treatment coordinator will then get in touch with the you and arrange a FREE virtual consultation at this point we can answer any questions you may have. Treatment Plan acceptance
If you decide to go ahead with treatment, you will be able to sign the acceptance online and we will then arrange for any deposit and fee payment to be made. Alternatively, we will also progress any initial patient finance application. Importantly, we will inform you about the decision.
Course of treatment
Further to the patient formally accepting their Treatment Plan, we will plan and book the necessary appointments for their course of treatment. If any initial treatment has been agreed to be carried out by you prior to treatment, we will liaise with your team to co-ordinate timings. During this time, we will keep you informed of progress.
Once treatment is finished, we will carry out a series of specific actions designed to check everything planned has worked as intended and advise the patient that our involvement is completed. This will include asking for patient feedback about their treatment, care and experience. We will share this feedback and inform you that the patient is being sent back to your ongoing care.
To ensure long-term success of the treatment, we will stress to the patient the importance of ongoing regular check-ups and conscientious oral hygiene with you, their regular dentist. In the rare event of post-treatment complications, we guarantee that your patient will receive remedial care as a priority.
